loglow on Jul 28 '05 I don't really like the monster. It looks like a werewolf with the head of an alien (from the alien movies). Also, one foot is much smaller than the other. Great design, but it needs a revision before I'd consider buying it.

Still doesn't change the fact that the baby is going to get chewed (sadly), and the whole style being cartoony with the subject makes this feel awkward. |

hey ! thanx for your comments. i decided to give the monster kinda look that i have never seen before on a "monster". so i wanted to avoid that it looks cute or to give the impression that it looks like hey thats "bigfoot" or "godzilla" or stuff. but the funny idea tho is that EVERYTHING in the picture would change in the next second - when the monster steps on the squeaky duck.

i like the idea. and i like the color scheme a whole lot. but i agree that the monster looks kinda off.

I like the colors and I like the monster too although when i first saw it I thought it was more of a Knuckles from Sonic the Hedgehog/Predator kind of head cause the negative space of the teeth looked like eyes. Either way I think you did well by deviating from the standard monster look.

umm... why is there a rubber duckie in the little boy's bedroom? that's all i want to know. other than that? the monster's head looks awkward because its body is furry and it's head does not appear to be. i'dalso think about making the eyes bigger.

My god people! The monster does not need to be completly defined and shoved into your mold of what a "monster" looks like. You say you want things that are orginal, yet, if something looks different, you attack it. There is such thing as STYLE.

@moonshine : the main main main idea of this was supposed to be under the name of ROOM NOISES and therefore had to put in there something which would make a sound. and so it turned out that way and i did not want to push it for the competition. maybe the monster could look different. maybe the monster could look like every monster. but that´s MY version of a monster, hope that´s acceptable ;)

Since you can't really see the monster's eyes, you can't tell where he's looking, so it looks like the monster can actually see the ducky. Which wouldn't make any sense at all because he's about to step on it. Also I have the same problem with the alien head thing. Make the eyes more prominent and show that he's actually looking at the boy and I'd give it a $4.

Lose the ducky?? That's the whole reason this shirt is so cool -- it's not just a picture it's asotry. The monster steps on the duck, it squeaks, kid wakes up, everything changes. I like it =D
