i tried to be at least *slightly* creative with my shirt, while still making an obvious reference to the In Love and Death theme. I know some people won't like the blood, and it still gets the point across without it, but just that little bit does add to the picture in my opinion.

I love it everytime i see it, and i just now realized the one thing that kind of threw me off the whole time--the shadow of the knife falls on the background but not on the ring

yeah reckless, i struggled with that for a while. The only problem with putting the shadow on the ring was that it really stuffed up the clarity, because the ring started to just mush into the edge of the knife and stuff... unfortunate, but it really looked better this way. I do agree with you though.

Like the tan shirt the best with the knife in the center. I know, I know, I'm a graphic purist a la the center only or maybe a little off center.

i agree with twistedpilgrim. i think a bottom right placement would be best on the tan. i'd buy this shirt.
