it reads:



it was in the latter half of the decade that kong expatriated from his birthplace after a failed coup against the sauropods of skull island. early during his time among the towering confines of new york city, kong entered the vaudeville circuit in an effort to fulfill his dream of performing on broadway. but as his neighborhood gentrified causing rent prices to soar, kong was forced to take up other, mundane employment. seeking some soulful interpersonal connection, kong pursued a woman whose path he had crossed while on skull island. the torrid affair ended bitterly for kong. soon after, this king of sapien species disappeared from his social circles and finished his days a reclusive hermit in new jersey.



despite all this, kong called NYC his,

at least, semi-permanent home.

while someone will definitely have to spend time to read the whole thing, i tried to make sure that a casual looker will be able to get the general gist... keywords like broadway, gentrified, hermit in new jersey, etc end up being prominently spaced/placed so that you can get the conceptt of what's going on w/o reading the whole thing or looking too closely.

awsome. though i'd like it better without the 'nyc' bubbles.....

but...i love the text and the art style.

first didnt like the text, but the heartwrenching journey of Kong from giant sapien menace to lonely hermit in Jersey won me over. Print it!!

I'm not sure I'd wear it, but it's an impressive design. Aw hell, who am I kidding? I'd wear it for the Jersey reference alone. Nice work.
