i dont think ive ever seen a gun on threadless that dosnt shoot hearts, flowers, or butterlies. good vector work, but.... well you pretty much already said it

ahhh this is funny, l like it.

I actually adapted this from a design I did in January...before I even knew what Threadless was...so what if it's a variation on a theme?...there's not much that's new under the sun anyway.

OK. No one has taken the gun shooting hearts concept and made the hearts PURPLE. There. It's out there. Do it, i don't care who does it. Lets just see an army dude shooting purple hearts. How clever.

BETTER YET , make the shooter a Iraqi insurgent shooting Purple Hearts and name it after me.

Why even do this? The entire idea's been done billions of times, even you said so. You could've been putting your good art to good use instead.

If you cross your eyes it kind of looks like flowers in the attic...

I like the design, I just don't know how well it fits with The Used.

awesome. it'd be cooler if some of the hearts were of larger size.

The guys face... Made me giggle. He looks so... SAD! If I had a gun that shot hearts, I would pee my pants with unstoppable joy!! He should be smiling like a young boy on christmas!

enough of the whole "voilence=pretty butterflies; hearts; and flowers" its sooooooooo played out. Don't get me wrong I like the design but the shooting hearts has just been done a few too many times.

i wish it was a flame thrower. cool design, but robby is right its way too played out. nonetheless 5 for design.

Let me stress...I saw Flowers in the Attic for the first time several months AFTER I did this piece http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/14921926/ (which I did long before I knew about Threadless)

I may be a lot of things, but I have NEVER in my life appropriated anyone else's ideas... I really take offence at any suggestion that I've stolen someone else's concept/design.

I dare say this concept has been explored well before Flowers in the Attic & will be done so for many years more...I guess some ideas are just so obvious & fundamental that people spontaneously think of variations of them. This design & concept is MY OWN WORK...maybe I'm guilty of an unoriginal idea...but not of theft!

Well it's not so much that it not only looks just like what is probably the most popular shirt on this site.. But also there are "guns shooting hearts/flowers" submitted every frickin' day it seems. Even if your artwork is different, or even if you made it 13 years ago, it's still the same idea.

Just a case of too little too late, or maybe even plain old bad luck.

i liked this shirt a lot more when it was called Flowers in the Attic and was illustrated in a way that made sense with itself and had a discernable message and had already been printed and sold out several times by threadless.

I've already submitted a design very similar to this and with the same name.

this is cool magic jelly, i especially like the half tone in the soldiers suit...as an aside magic jelly is a good name too...

I like the detail in the soldiers uniform. I prefer the look of the WWI uniform over any other modern ones for this shirt.
