stuck with pins on Jul 06 '05 The gun should have been left the same. Now it's hard to tell it's a gun. And I agree with the comment above about the people in the back. They look like little kids. Which doesn't really symbolize lust. I think the first one was better.
Ignore what people say about hearts being cliche. I've been told it a million times but I never sieze to put them on a design. <3 |

o god, im am in love with both of the shirts!! but i would have to say i do like the first one better, the 2 ppl kissing, great idea, too cartoony.

aw, i hate this more, the other was better by far.
for some reason, the silhouettes kissing make me think that if the "sad-eyed kids" paintings had silhouettes, those would be they. |

this one is good but i would mkae the ppl kissing older and maybe add that splatter in the back of them kissing

... I prefer this one... and quite a lot actually.
Frankly, I would never wear the previous shirt. The gore was too much. This is essentially the same idea, but with an inocent twist. I think it's amazing how just changing the heart to the children has made something as horrible as suicide a little more innocent. And I can tell it's a gun in the zoomed version. From far away it's hard to tell, but I'd imagine wearing this people would see it's a gun no mistake. |

First one was brilliant. I love this one to though. I have to agree that the figures look like little cartoon kids, but the concept is well conveyed.
KATIE... Hearts are Cliche as they are used in 99.9% of the designs on sight, but they still have a powerful meaning when used properly. Just because people here are sick of seeing them, it doesn't mean that they should be abandoned. Yours was perfect. The first design ROCKED andthis one will too if you matured the figures. |

The gun to the side of the head would've looked cleaner for people to see. Good layout though.

He's dark brown. I thought the same brown as the shirt just looked kind of off.

i really like the first one. it's almost awkward that they look like lil kids, even though the design isn't bad.

The gun is more detailed in this one, but it's harder to tell it's a gun. If the kissers looked more like blood spatter it might be easier to tell though. (Also, the other one was awesome, I thought the heart in that one was reasonably subtle too.)

Anyone who thinks the first design's gun was easier to identify has never seen a gun, or is missing an eye. The first design looks like he's taking a bong-rip, not shooting himself.
I like the redesign a lot more. The kissing figures look fine, though not "lusty" as the name may imply, but I think overall this design looks like it has a much better story to tell, and just for aesthetic it beats out the red airbrush arcs making the heart too. So yeah, I don't know how you got so many people who like the first design better, I don't know how they could. |

The couple kissing in the background should be in the same style as the guy with the gun. They do look a little like kids.
But I LOVE this, love the first design on black more. Don't worry if people are criticizing your first design--they are really striking images, and really unique. I like that it shows sincere emotion, it's not leaden with irony like the designs that are so popular these days. |

Hmm... I saw your first one, and I agree with most of the people here. I like the first one better. The people are a nice idea, but that head must have been chock full of blood to make two full silhouettes.
Maybe you could try one more using the old gun (people here seemed to like it better) and the blood could form dripping lips, looking like a red lipstick smooch, ya know? It would please the people that said the heart is cliche, and I think it would look pretty cool. Just a suggestion tho. Lovely work overall. 5. |

i must say, i liked your first design better, but i think the only thing you should change on it is the spray painted heart, everybody is doing this whole "paint" thing now, maybe try to make it look like blood, similar to paint and you could somewhat keep your same design yet its a little different than everyone elses.

I love this idea, but the couple seems too well-formed to be a blood spatter. Make the edges more splotchy and yes, age the couple. Then I would most definitely buy this shirt.
