For some reason, it kinda makes me think of reggae music... Anyone else?

probably because it makes you think of smoking a bowl. I would make the mane/cloud a little smaller, maybe just more like the shape of the lion.

Good concept, but are those your initials in the ear. Get rid of them. It is horribly distracting once you notice it.

The cloud makes it look like some sort of sheep-lion hybrid. I love the concept, though.
