you know the illustration is great as always...but one thing bothers me...there just aren't enough rocker items on the guy. Perhaps instead of wristbands you would show spiked bands...maybe an earring...or tatoos...I dunno he kind of looks more athletic than a rocker.
And is he drinking milk? Maybe make it a beer...Anyway overall great job. But as is I would not buy it.

Jesus didn't you win the IFC contest yet? Great idea and great illustration. If the rest of the entries are half this good I'll be surprised. I'm not sure about the stars in the background, and there was a certain quality I liked about your IFC entry... the way you used less color to convey the idea.

It's funny and clever, and the art is good, but it's too cartoony for me to wear. I still give it a fiver, cause it doesn't get much funnier than a rascal scooter.

• piercings, faded tattoos and maybe even a flag for the scooter would just be icing on this tasty cake! Well done!

Thanks SAILONSILVERGIRL. I too think that it would get too busy and small in detail with those extras. As a 'published', full colour illustration, I could really go for it, but feel it has enough in it already.

I never really thought about what he could be drinking, it's more the fact he's singing into the straw as some kind of faux microphone. But prune juice is a brilliant suggestion.

Take off the star bg. And it's awesome!

Just curious... did you draw this then scan it, streamline it, then colour it in Illustrator? Curious as to how you come up with this magnificent artwork? I've tried streamlining, but it always outlines funnily... frustrating!

I don't see anything wrong with his four colors. I check and the white on the socks and the white on the skin are the same. it's just an illusion i guess.

So they're spot colours right... but you can use tints of each spot?

How the hell did this only get 2.32? There has been a MAJOR increase in teenie boppers on this site and I think flipping brilliant designs that would appeal to everyone are suffering too much. They are voting down brilliant stuff like the design above because (1) they cannot relate to older people because they are just too cool and (2) if they can picture someone older than themselves in it it just isn't cool because only they know what cool is and only they can be cool. They forget that not everything they experience is absolutely brand spanking new!

Damn I'm getting old! But damn how silly little teenagers piss me off with their "I know all and I'm just too cool" attitudes!!!

I hope this wins and gets printed despite the cheeky buggers who voted this down.
