I'm really fond of the idea, but the execution could use some work. If you put a few more hours into this, and worked some more texture into the terrain, and details like the creeper position, it'd be wonderful.

I like the Inception-like/Escher crossover feel here, especially with Steve being on the bottom of the design looking up.
