I love it, but I wouldn't buy it in these colors. I think the blue is the problem. Maybe the blue could be off-white and the white could be yellow? I don't know. But great design though.

I like it with the heart and radiating lines. I think that It would be too plain without them. I must say that i dont mind the burgandy, but if you are giong to go for the bright neon-y colors, you may want something that matches. Even something simple like black or white. Or even grey. Is the heart supposed to be slightly lopsided?

About the colors...
The Threadless template that you see on the placement picture and what the actual burgundy shirt threadless uses are quite different colors on your monitor. So take a look at the shirts they sell in burgundy and observe that it is a lighter, but still dark shirt. You'll also notice that there aren't a lot of burgundy shirts for sale and the design just pops with the burgundy. I want to keep the utensils blue and use 2 variants of blue, so the burgundy and heart would be in that same warm area of color. It's easier for your eyes to make the transition from a warm color shirt to a warm color ink, so I see burgundy working for the design. However, if thereadless decides on a different shirt color, then black, and navy would be good candidates. The heart and the radiant lines serve a function. They draw the eyes to the point of focus. The heart makes the transition from shirt to the spoon and fork easier while the lines go inward to the spork, which is the point of focus... design, not decoration. Awesome idea, very funny. I think it could use a little refinement, though. The neon colors look a little funky on the maroon shirt, and the blanket behind the spork is sort of hard to make out.

I love the idea and the illustration, but that's five colors. There are three values of blue along with white and pink. I don't think you really need the darker value of the blue (the closest of the "arms" on the parents are both the darker blue). I think this is great! What would we do without the good ol' spork?

Sorry, I didn't realize the arms were still the blue I had before I decided to change the color on it. Good job for catching that, however, this design is meant to have 4 colors.
