The peking duck was killed in Beijing and ended up in a restaurant. Honor the duck for its courage.

Ok, feedback please. :-3

This is considerably lame considering it aims to kills the sentiment behind the actual occasion that occurred, which this design is based on.

People realy need ot use their brains when creating images. Far too many 14 yr olds with computers who think they're adults with fully formed experience

I don't care for the duck being killed and eaten. (Godless commie bastards =) luckily the real life guy in Beijing that stood in front of a whole line o' tanks lived.

But anyway change the back-story to the duck living and receiving an honorary degree from Stanford and accepting a China Studies teaching position and 5+ buy.

kallen seriously fucking relax.... sometimes a duck is just a duck.... a duck standing in front of a tank...

I'd buy it if it had the dude and not the duck ... that's one of my favorite images of all time

I realy like it, Think the background grey looks the nicest, and i kinda like the Chinese/english writing dynamic too. would of been nice to incorporate that on to the shirt somehow. 5 and Buy.

not sure I wholeheartedly love the idea behind this shirt, but the one thing I'm thinking is that the lines, although making a lot of sense contextually, might be lost without damaging the image - then you could reposition without it looking funny. I know its a shame to lose that nice perspective, but give it a go.

I do not agree with making light of a struggle which is continuing on. I like the design and the idea (if it did not have the historical context that it does) though.

I'm guessing the people who like this are too young to have a clue what the original photo (Tiananmen Square) was about.
this is pretty tasteless, to wear it is to announce your ignorance.

Sigh. I don't want to talk about political thing here, but I need to say something

I was raised in China and got tons of news during that event. My relatives and friends were there witnessing it. Our point of view is completely different from Westerners' POV. We knew that government wasn't that stupid and never wanted to kill innocent people. Army just came to CLEAN OUT people off Tiananmen Square without harming them. No one died in Tiananmen Suqare! The incident was caused by bunch of angry unemployed workers. Students were happened to be in between unemployed workers and soldiers. A lot of students left, but fool students remained there to get hurted. "Tiananmen Square Massacre" was made up by anti-china/communist media and politicians. There are always two sides to a story. I don't want ot talk more.

I respected the guy who stood in the way of tanks for having balls to do that.

Wow, you guys are taking this way too seriously.

I really love the idea, not too sure about the road lines in the background.. center the image on the shirt, for sure. And, something about the shading is bothering me.. but I would still probably wear it. :)

Uh, dongzhou? Maybe you should check your figures-- while the Chinese gov't denies there were any casualties in the square itself, they do admit there were dozens if not hundreds killed on the approaches to the square.

(rubs eyes) sigh. The fact is that no one died >in Tiananmen Square<. Even Spanish news clearly showed students leaving the square. There were clashes between workers and soldiers a mile away from the square. Students accidently got in a cross-fire (far away from the square) between crazy workers and soldiers/polices. Yes, dozens (includes students, workers, polices, soldiers) were killed there. No one know real numbers exactly.

lots of people with sticks up their asses...

i love this shirt. the only thing i'd suggest (and i hate saying this because i usually get pissed off when others say it) is to move it up to about chest height. maybe. maybe not, now that i look at it again. i'm an indecisive bastard.

anyways, 5 and buy

well as much as wearing a shirt can represent your position in alot of things i just really like this design its interesting and i love where its positioned kind of different than just having it in the middle of everything also i probably wouldnt have guessed that they were on a street with out the lines keep up the good work

I think it's cleverly designed but the message behind it smacks woefully of ignorance and lack of understanding. You should ask your parents or grandparents what really happened in Tienneman Square in 1989, and they'll tell you something far different than what you think. It's sad that there are people out there who still deny the massacre that occurred there.
