not a superman fan,so wouldn'y buy it, but for this round of submissions you get my only 5 as the execution,design and concept i find absolutely flawless.

it's a great idea, and really took some time...great use of four colors and the dark blue of space...DC would sell these at comic book shops in a heart beat...

Well... "it's not copyright infringement, it's parody".. etc.. those statements are always really technical. If a work is actually copyright infringement or not is something a court decides with its final ruling. Parodies are generally allowed as long as they satisfy the concept of "fair use," which dictates the terms under which you can use copyrighted material. The problem is that it's always up to interpretation, and most companies like Threadless or Cafepress or whoever dont' even want to chance it, so they don't even allow the use of copyrighted material. Whether or not this is copyright infringement.. ask a judge. Does it use copyrighted material? Certainly. So therein lies the problem. Of course there have been some exceptions printed on Threadless.. and I have no idea why. Public domain? I don't know how that works.
