Perhaps if you would like to include the text, you can incorporate it witha speach bubble above the rodent's head. Right now it just looks like a caption that doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

i think the text should just be "yarr" and be small up by the rat's head....doesn't have to be in a speech bubble, but should look like its being spoken.

Its funny you say that.. because i originally had it as a speech bubble. Well, more like a box, but you get the idea. I relocated the text because i felt it threw it off balance... but i guess it makes more sense to be at the top.

If people saw someone wearing the shirt it'd probably take a while for them to figure out, so maybe replace the text you have there with "a pie rat's life for me" and just hace a little speech bubble for the rat to say yarr. Very adorable though, and clever.

Not even joking, last night I found "Pierats ahoy" by richard scary in my basement, and I basically cried it made me so happy. This shirt is a personal fave of mine now. <3!
