i'd almost prefer a shirt that lost the naut and had a translation of the barcodespeak at the bottom of the shirt that says "buy" or something.

the astronaut rocks but the barcode flag is a little sloppy next to it, so i don't know i wish that was cleaned up
also i don't love it on the green |

What color would you guys have preferred for the shirt? I didn't originally set out to make a green shirt, but when I was looking through my options the green was the nicest backdrop to my eye. If I could have had any color I wanted I might have tried a da-glo bright orange or something, but I'm curious to read other suggestions. |

hm, its just you have red, blue, then green- its too much...the best i could say would be a darker blue

yeah, uhm. i didn't automatically know that was a barcode. i immidiately thought of candycanes. most barcodes have a DPCI )or was it DCPI... whatever) number at the bottom.
but i agree, astronauts are cool. |

it would be better on a different color shirt like black or white i think white would be the best choice.

How about a pale blue background? I KNEW it was a barcode immediately - It didn't look like a candycane to me! (Says Donna)
For clothing, you might modify the colors so they're not primary - primary colors are hard to wear. Other caolors might be more sophistcated.. If you stare at the red UPS long enough and then look away, you'll have a green UPC infront of your eyes.(says Sam) donna & sam & wallace & gromit in Oakland |

My suggestions are just a combination of what others are saying-- I would buy it if it were just the flag (no pole even), with numbers across the bottom, mix up the width of the bars in the barcode so there are really wide ones along with the really skinny ones, and sharpen up the stars so they look like the real stars on the flag.

just to echo: lose the astronaut and the pole. center the flag with the text "buy" underneath. it'd give the statement more impact, and... well, I'd buy it immediately.

The design seems to overtake the shirt. I'd like it to be more on the subtle side. As others have already stated, I'd change up the shirt color.

You might want to vary the width and spacing of the bars more. It'd read better as a barcode. And no green. Otherwise, cool shirt.

the astronaut has a psuedo realism and the flag is cartoony.... it should be waving or something, i can't quite put my finger on it... but then again, i suppose if the flag were waving, you'd lose emphasis on the bar code... hmmm... also, i didn't immediately recognize it as a bar code
