I think I addressed all the criticisms from my first entry. It's a different piece in the same series, so I got rid of the background on this one, and it's smaller on the shirt. It's less complex and busy than the other one, but still has a lot of meaning. (At least to me!)

awesome design. the only thing i'm thinking is that the eye sockets should be clear like the heart is. other than that, it's really awesome.

smaller pupils on the eyes will make viewer see that they are eyeballs quicker... so that's a minor comment. and is that 2 conjoined circles that the crack on stone is splitting? may be redundant to have that since the hand-holding couple is already split by the split. i love your style and really like this shirt, even as is.

seriously, though, this is a sweet design. maybe make the crack in the headstone not go all the way through. i dunno, that's may be sort of an artistic decision, it seems, because it may detract from the message.

i'd wear it either way.

I love both of your designs, but I think the white coloring makes it look funny on a tee shirt. Maybe if you made the illustration colors compliment the shirt color.

Have you read anything about Edgar Allen Poe's life? For some reason when I saw this I though "damn this should be an Edgar Allen Poe poem."

His mother died of tuberculosis, and his wife, and some other woman he loved and looked up too. Plus he wrote that poem about sleeping by his love's grave.
"And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride,
In the sepulchre there by the sea,
In her tomb by the sounding sea."

That's from "Annabel Lee." Google it or something. If the poem were illustrated I think it would be that picture.

wonderfull design. alot of deep meaning. i reccomend putting the design on a darker shirt. seeing as how it is a sulky image. i would definatly buy this. 5

You're an amazingly talented artist and i think you're colour choice was perfect. I would certainly buy this t-shirt although i almost feel it would be a shame to wear it it feels very much like it should be hung on a wall..

64Crayola: I tried making the eye sockets go all the way through, but it looked really weird for whatever reason.

Skipcronin: You're right. I should have made the pupils smaller. And the wedding rings are probably redundant. I erased what was over them, (My ex-wife and my initials and the date of our marriage, then divorce, since that stuff made it too personal for anyone to wear.) and replaced it with the hand holding people. I see now the rings arn't centered. Weird.

Essie. F: I liked the white because it makes it look like a paper cut-out. Also, you can't see it due to those stupid .gif dots, but there is a fiberous texture to it.

nightspin: I don't care for emo. Maybe goth?

xdork: The back tshirt is dark brown, but it looks black there for some reason. You're right about the lines.

It's interesting and a good design, but I wouldn't wear it. I guess it doesn't apply to me, and if it did, I wouldn't want to wear it on a shirt, you know?

The design is great, I just think you made the message too strong you know? You need to leave something to the imagination, that way the shirt can take on a more personal meaning to the wearer.

I like the shirt on the green the best. It gives your illustration a more earthy feeling. I really love the design though.
