So i saw a submission a while ago , and it was..i dunno this white snake design...and everyone said it looked liek this exploding dog thing. So i went to Exploding dog .com and..i dunno. There are alot of "web" characters that look the same. ill give you a few.
1: Squigo..look for it... 2: domo-kun--japanese hairy thing. 3. My guy... So i dunno i think were all borrowing from eachother or being inspired by something. So please before you hit me with the "exploding dog thing". yeah. |

stuck with pins on Jun 15 '05 i like it. yes, and i agree with your comment about us being inspired by something. nothing we design just comes out of no where. i think people need to stop saying we ripped off something or that it reminds them of another. if it does, it does. great.
but i like this all the same. <3 |

wow, I think it is really cool. I think it is time someone said something about being accused of taking an idea from something else. My friend is a great designer, but some stuff that she did was being accused of being taken from something else. People are inspired by different things and in different ways. But, I know that there are some people out there that do take ideas from other things, and they are not original at all. But that doesn't mean everyone does that.
