sailonsilvergirl
sailonsilvergirl on Jun 12 '05
and it should be "how to use chopsticks" not "how to used the clopstricks"

Can't read text, without text it makes absolutely no sense and not appropriate for IFC

The title cracks me up! I love it so much... I've been sitting here repeating it over and over "How to used the clopstricks" The mixture of the wrong verb tense with "use" plus the misspelling of "Chopsticks" is really the best thing about this.

I have an idea. Take everything off that shirt and just have it say "how to used the clopstricks" that would be the best thing ever and I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Sorry if you don't speak english well and I'm just sitting here making fun of you. I just think the way the title came out is the funniest thing EVER in the history of ANYTHING!

I give it a 5 just because the title is so funny.

I want some clopstricks.

Is it like the spork of chopsticks? Where can you get them; Nom Yerk, Soston, los Uogas?

I think it might qualify for IFC if the clopstricks were picking up some human appendage, possibly a testicle or two. testicle rolls anyone?

gosh, I kinda went overboard on the "humor", sorry.....

" how did you know the characters for the chinese numbers 1, 2, and 3 and not know how to spell chopsticks?"

read that comment again. now, the question should be, "how did you just type that without realizing the answer to your own question"

"How to use a handgun", "How to bag a body", etc...would be more appropriate for this design.

but is appropraite. what goes better with an ifc movie marathon than some good take-out?

maybe becuase when you use....chopsticks you're not....cutting? hence, uncut? i don't know. that's a stretch. i was trying to make sense of it. eh, it says clopstricks. that's still funny.

its "clopstricks" if you say it with an accent. some people aren't gonna get it cause their stoopit.
little_hobbit_feet
little_hobbit_feet on Jun 14 '05
"... cause their stoopit."
Right.
And there is no accent that turns "cho" into "clo".
I agree that the shirt could be cute but has absolutely no place in the IFC contest.

I think this design is pleasing to the eye. I would buy it just for that sake knowing thogh that it wouldnt really make sense to someone else for a while until they really looked at it

i've read a similar title on actual chopstick instructions! next time you're at a chinese restuarant check the instructions.. some places purposely use engrish to make things seem authentic. tee hee
ciniron
ciniron on Jun 14 '05
Yeah, definitely not IFC.

Make it into a seperate shirt, and I'd most likely buy it if it were printed.
zootsuit
zootsuit on Jun 15 '05
ok, i completely understand the misspelling. I actually have a chopstick sleeve that says almost the exact same thing, i'll have to find it and put it somewhere. Its hilarious because it does say clopsticks. Kudos to you for the reference that really made me giggle. $5!

I don't see what this has to do withIFC. just resubmit it without the IFC logo.
