Another silly thought that made me chuckle. So far, that's been really bad luck for me here, but it's always taken me a while to learn to avoid pain.

hugs and kisses,

I think it'd work better without the words. It would reward the viewer. But I guess "ewe" would be pretty hard to get.

Get rid of the words

leave the words. i'm not going to want to explain that it's a ewe instead of a sheep every time i wear it, and i doubt anyone else does either...
DaddyDom
DaddyDom on Jun 15 '05
Yeah, the EWE is the only reason I added the lettering.

I think that's great!! Leave the words! They make the shirt, and who want's to explain that to everyone who sees the shirt?! 5+$

provetheworst, does the term splitting hairs mean anything to you?
abortitofeliz, gracias.
danegerous, If I had a dime for everytime a woman said that to me...
arabbit, that was the look I was going for, so, thanks!

Words make it a little more coarse.. but they are small enough that people are still going to see the pictures first... then puzzle.. then read the words. So... good job! Just not a shirt for me.

I think ewe could remove the words if you drew some big melons on the sheep. Just a suggestion...

Man, I really, really like this. Especially on light blue or red.

You could put a little pink bow on the sheep's ear and get "Ewe" without the text...which I'd prefer because then I could wear it to work...
DaddyDom
DaddyDom on Jun 18 '05
meganeko, thanks!
gritsisgood, while I love big ol' melons, I think they'd weird me out on a sheep.
dotted, thanks as well.
Hedera, that's a pretty damn good idea. I might just do that! Thanks!

I like it. Leave the text - not only is there the confusion with ewe/sheep, but I've never seen a lollipop called a sucker (more than likely a cultural difference).

w/o text it would read "fork sheep cork lollipop" in my mind.

even with that said, i still think the text should be taken away...confusing people is fun

the ewe wouldn't be that much trouble, everyone has seen an "eye heart ewe" message before - it's the sucker that i think some people wouldn't quite grasp. i think your judgment calls on the shirt were right on. however, like many here, "not my cup of tea". heck, i don't even drink tea. go mormons.

Delete the words. Or perhaps just create another one without the words and watch which one sells better. :)

i dunno ... i don't really like the words being there but i agree most people wouldn't know "ewe". there must be some alternative.
