I wish you had flash, too. :) Are those railroad tracks?
Great concept, though I think it would work better in a venue without the 4-color limitation. If the true ink colors were used, the NTSC bars would be more easily recognizable (it took me a second to figure out what I was looking at). Why did you decide to invert the colors, by the way?
from the second draft of my novel-Phantom of an Era
Across the street in the stream of the city lights outside was a light and video instillation. As it g0es it was a still mural like the stay tuned pattern of a televison stay tuned pattern played at the end of a days' programming years ago- with solid colored bodies slightly off of the block of monochrome to which they corresponded and then over into the next hue- here spatial arrangements spun in and out of the verticals formed via plam trees and diving boards as if the read across were a colorful Miami Beach motel and in the meantime speedboats of the sky zoomed by.
I would have really liked this and wanted to buy this if there weren't the obnoxious kids everywhere. If you resubmit it just with the bars, i'm fairly certain it could get in. Then again, you made fun of the fat kid...so you'll never get anything through.
About my design
i recolored the NTSC bars with some halftones, so i swear, its only 4 colors; the background is a larger version of the ones in question.
wish i had flash so i could show a detail.
