i hate being the bad guy.. but someone has to do it. this is a boring design. maybe if you work for peta or greenpeace it would do something for ya. a bird in the tree can however be very buddhist or something if you really dig for meaning in something, but this design is sorta basic.. and im being nice by using the word basic. everyone does make bad designs once in the while so im not preaching, so just use the poorness of this image to motivate you towards making things perfect.this ia a t-shirt ?you" would like, maybe not everyone else.

bottlesandcans: wow. um.. thanks for the constructive criticism or whatever that was. whether you like the design or not though, there's nothing wrong with: making things basic nor should i (or ANYONE) get docked for making a t-shirt "[i] would like, maybe not everyone else." If artists didn't make things that they personally like, and instead made some vain attempt to appease the amalgamated mass you refer to as"everyone," everything would be sh!t. And, please, take your own words into consideration next time you're working on your own designs, cos i could totally say the same.

I agree with shhhquiet. This is a poor attempt to knock someone down just because it doesn't look like something you would buy online from thousands of other trendy websites . You yourself are quite inspired by punk rock and pulp imagery (and the atomic bomb-pleeeeeeeease how many times have I seen this image redone and revamped-it actually is boring.)On top of it I can trace most of your images to one artist or another if I did some research.
So you see, It's difficult to think up of a great design or even execute one...but so easy to sound like the critical "bad guy"! What I expect from this blog is worthwile , constructive and articiculate arguments, none of the " a bird on the tree can however be very buddhist or something...(???) What do YOU mean?

Well he can stuff it anyway, I think this bird is a little different in that it actually looks like it's loving the hell out of singing. I'd definitely wear it

I would like it better if the bird had its eye open instead of the closed eyelashes. It looks quite solemn the way it is, and if it's telling the wearer a secret, I think it'd be really kicky if it was looking out at the people who AREN'T wearing the shirt, checking to see who's looking.
Make sense?
Also, I don't think I like it on the green.
But nice drawing.

Simple can be good sometimes, but this doesn't much much creativity to make up for it's simplistic nature.

whoa! if you don't have something nice, or at least half civil to say...

The branch should be lower, not right up near the collar I think.

i like the bird. but the color of the shirt doesn't match. . . i'd buy it if it were on a different colored shirt :D

i think you can be a bit more serious for your work if you consider you are a artist, or maybe some people would think everyone is a artist....I dont know........but i only can sure that everyone can do somethink like that within 10 mins. after they get a photo from google....if they are the design "service" industry. good simple design should including a accurate graphic position as already had people pointed it out rather than something look like the hair coming out from the underarm.............

I do like the bird, but I agree that it should be placed a bit lower on the shirt, and on a different color shirt. The green's not working for me. I good design, though.

"designers"who asume they know everything there is to know about design and criticize the hell out of everyone but their work can't stand up to the same standards they impose on other people (pandraff) should shut up. It's embarassing....
