About the design
I'm a big fan of the Metroid video game series, especially the second of the Prime trilogy, originally on the Nintendo Gamecube. In it, the main protagonist Samus Aran battles a fearsome alien threat called the Ing which possess their prey and twist them into dark alter-egos. While Samus luckily didn't fall prey to these deadly creatures, it definitely leaves it up to the imagination as to what the product of that would be. And here it is, the fearsome Samus Ing.
