"A dragon lives forever
but not so little boys
painted wings and giant's rings
made way for other toys

One grey night it happened
his companion came no more
and that mighty dragon
he ceased his fearless roar

His head was hung in sorrow
green scales fell like rain
he longer went to play
along that cherry lane

Without his life long friend
he could not be brave
so that mighty dragon
sadly slipped into his cave"

I really love the illustration of his remembering, would look neat on a tee all on it's own, but together they look very nice too.
