I appreciate your comments, every one of them. I would hope that the work on my website would have no bearing on how you all score this submission.
I agree the design might look better with out the text, but I worry the reference would be too obscure without it. So, that's why I put it onthere. Besides, the book cover has the text written on the tree itself so I was hopeing for some visual congruence between the two.
