About the design
on April 7, 2012
Before I copypaste Evan's excellence below, I wanted to publicly thank him for being the most patient collaborator that I've dealt with yet. As I fought the storm of school work, Evan patiently waited for our project to evolve. And evolve it did.
And now, a word from your local FRICKINAWESOME:
This collab done with GyleDesigns was an entirely different beast (or fire serpent) than either of us had ever participated in. This was a collaboration in the fullest sense of the word, with both Gabe and I starting from scratch and having in-depth discussions, slowly honing in on an idea we both thought of and wanted to refine together. The actual design process was a fantastic give-and-take as well, and we both couldn't be happier with the final product.
This design deals with both the differences and parallels between Eastern and Western medical philosophies, attempting to combine these two seemingly unconnected worlds of medicinal thought and realize that to completely ignore the teachings of one side is to ignore better ways to cure human beings at our own peril.
