my second submission. i enjoy shirt designs that are open to interpretation. sorry to those who don't like white shirts, it worked the best for me this time around. i hope to get some more feedback on this one. thank you.

This is a really cool design, I like the sketchy look.

I like the eyes and I like the body but I don't know if they belong on the same shirt...

thanks for the comments so far:) quark, i know what you are saying, i went through several versions of this design before i found something that worked for me (aesthetically and conceptually). so, the relationship between the eyes and the body was probably the most difficult part of the design.

I really like the human figure you used, and the strokes are quite beautiful.

First I love the design ... esp. the fluid strokes composing the body, but I think people would be more receptive if it wasn't black on a white shirt. I think maybe a dark blue shirt with white would be the way to go. It would make the design pop more. Just a thought.

I really love this shirt. I really love the strokes you used. I think it looks good on a white shirt. 5 and Buy

you could totally have just the figure on the shirt and lose all that other stuff. all that other stuff makes the design very top heavy and awkwardly balanced. but the figure itself is very elegant and well-drawn.

i put up alternate colorways here:

all eyes on the attractive female figure. cool idea. maybe have all the eyes actually looking at the figure? unless that's not what you were going for. anyways, i like it.

that's a very cool concept, I'd like to see it on something other than white though.

swingliner, i wasn't really going for one thing specifically. it is really open to interpretation ;)

thank you for all the comments.

I like it but I dont.. I love the style of the figure but I dont think it is placed well and I think the rest of the design isn't to well done...
if it was just the figure I would wear it

the two pieces just feel so separated by style. i think they were clearly worked on at different times in different places (or at least it appears they were) and it feels clumsy. great concept, would love to see it reworked. pink is the new ugly.

letdowntourist - thanks for the comment. i did the two pieces on the same night, in the same room, with the same tablet. But i understand that ,although they are both sketches, the figure contains some varied line weight which sets it apart from the eyes. I'm not sure if having different parts of a design varied in style is a bad thing (such as for emphasis or contrast), but I understand what you are saying. And I did post up some other colors if you don't like the ugly pink.

those 'interpretational objects' above the figure ,(pardon my language) shit on the awesome gesture, IMHO.

lose them. the figure is dynamic enough on its own.
and keep the pink on white.

pastels are fun. .. and look really good faded.
