About my design

by sonixevo
Well, another simple design, with lots of inspiration from, um, Chinese! Its a single character, meaning "love".

That looks like something a stupid 12 year old would get tattooed on her back.

It's a good concept, expect the character is missing some strokes.

it looks like the japanese character "ai" or love, anyway nice concept

eek, kanji's are terribly over-rated. after working in the tattoo industry for years, i'd have to give the whole japanese character idea a big no.

It's a neato idea for a girl's tee, however, the stroke pattern for the character is wrong. It doesn't mean love if all the strokes are not there.

oh my god. if i see another shirt with a big chinese or japanese character on it, i'm going to stab myself in the eye with a spork.

mmm actually the strokes are all there, it's just a simplified version, as opposed to the traditional one... but regardless, i don't like the character idea.

ok to clear it up, japanese kanji is taken from chinese. they are the same!

Good idea, I think the comment taht only a 12 yr old girl would get it tattooed on her back is dumb. I not crazy about the color. Maybe make a black one with it in the center. I think the idea is awsome
mbbnyc
mbbnyc on May 28 '05
ok suggestion, Lose all the hearts except the one at trhe end of the stroke. Make it black and put it in the center of the shirt. or on a cammo shirt. I know that sounds soooo typical but i think it would look cool

No more Kanji. And yeah, Kanji is just a collection of stolen chinese characters.

History is a good thing.

majority of chinese from mainland china can no longer read traditional characters as the gov't has changed everything to simplifed. very sad.

i agree, shirt is girly.. but i'm a girl, so that's okay. but would rather have traditional character. not a big fan of the simplifed.

just because you stuck a foreign character on a shirt, does not make it good. anyone can do that.
