I think using a celebrity's likeness in this fashion is a pretty clear invitation to a lawsuit. There's not even an element of parody that you could argue in court. Sorry, but this will never be printed.

I was always under the impression that if you used a photo, there would be a lawsuit, but if it was drawn that was OK, parody or not. As a screenprinter, once, a company used a photo of Bob Marley. Rita Marley had licensed his image to a company called Balzout, only they had the right to use his image. The design was quickly reDRAWN by the company I worked with and they then went on to print many shirts. I'm, by no means, an expert on this but I like the fact that this design does not incorporate the newst version and hideous fiigure we see on TV everyday.

Maybe on black or white. I love MJ....but not on baby blue or pink...he's already too associated with childrens.

There really were some good times with MJ. It's a shame how the story is ending. Most definately a cool shirt though.

like the shirt - i'm giving you a five - cos i don't agree with Moglandor's comment - i think it should be printed cos it looks cool, but if the lawsuit comes your way i'm afraid i can't help you out buddy!!!
