this is hilarious, but iwouldbejosh is right, lose the shadow, or else be fair and give them all one. (Even ninjas and boxers have feelings, come on...)

i love the shirt, and i know it probably took forever to make the shadow, but i would ditch it. it makes it too cluttered. i would also center the robot a bit more..so it looks as if they are circling him. I would definetely buy this one!

The fighting styles don't seem very progressive, which is how I picture it should be. Maybe add a wrestler, a pirate, and a saiyin. Yeah, that would work...
And I know you've heard enough, but lose the shadow. |

Love the concept but I think the placement and perspectives on the individual fighting figures needs some work. Bruce Lee is a bit too close while the samurai guy is pretty far back. The boxer and swordsman appear to be viewed from the side so you should line up their feet with the robot. This would array everyone in a half arc around the robot rather than in a circle but their perspective should match up to their figures. 4 for concept and hard effort!

Great idea! I think removing the robot's shadow and moving him slightly to the center might solve the perspective problem.

i thought the robot getting it's shadow stepped on was one of the funnier parts of the shirt. but i see why it was a problem :)

Robsoul on May 23 '05 do not like your revised version in your comment above, you moved some of the characters around and it doesn't look right.
I think the only thing you have to change on this one is the shadow, make it shorter and you have one more color available right? use a dark/medium gray and throw it down for all the figures/characters. You probably don't even need it. And I do like the way you did the robot, very simple, it has it's own unique style. #5 is alive |

I'd definately have to agree with other people... a pirate would make it hillarious... matters if it fits your personal concept of the shirt.

i saw a Nike commercial with almost the same thing, several ninjas and fighters were trying to prevent a basketball player from getting to the hoop.

Anyhow, everyone looks badass except the boxer, who looks slow and dopey as hell. Any chance of altering his body/clothing/pose slightly to make him look like he could compete with the others? |

Did anyone else notice how the fighters alll have a martial arts influence and then... a boxer? To me, that skews the whole focus of the shirt-maybe a more diverse compliment of fighters (a soldier, a gunslinger or pirate? just something more varied).

I do like the style though, would be close to something I would buy. Besides, you've got more guts than I, I didn't enter anything...

Yeah, vary the fighters more. Maybe a knight, A boxer, a martial artist and some sort of soldier. and its should either be all or nothin with the shadows.

I don't think that he needs a shadow and it looks kinda weird when he is the only character who has one. Otherwise, it looks good.
