Man, complaining about this because it's an homage is just ridiculously stupid. If it were just something jotted off, maybe, but this is well done.

If you do get it chosen, and you have a good chance with this one, there are a couple little things I'd suggest working on. The arms are a little confusing, might want to make its right shoulder a little more obvious to clear up how the arms are oriented. Possibly work on the hand, just sharpen it up, and it's shadowed and thumbed like the hand is coming from the left arm, but after some consideration it looks like the hand is probably from its right. Awesome design, though.

I thik its a little bit akward in the arm/shoulder regions. Rework it a little bit.

Yes after I looked at it again, the left arm would have to be really long to join at the elbow, so maybe if I change the angle of the top portion of the arm.

I love love love both the book and this design AND your art style... but it's just not quite living up to its immense potential. I think the image of the sheep should be much less static, for one thing... just having it standing there placidly is not working. You could maybe have it jumping over a fence, if you don't mind using such an over-used cultural icon... or... I don't know... even if it was just chewing on something, you know? ANYthing.

Having the outline around the android be dream-cloud-like, too, by the way, is a stroke of absolute genius.

Great image. Great book. I agree that the arms could use a little work, and I'd love to see the sheep's power cord do something a little more interesting (now that I look at it I can't I can't believe I didn't see it, but it definitely took me two times to realize the tail was a cord). I also wonder if you could get away with a two-color version (making everything that's dark blue black).

Also, don't worry about assholes like ButteredToast. It's a great image and concept.

I'm a sucker for the offset orientation, perhaps have the robot in the lower left of the shirt, and the dream bubble carrying across?

I like this design, I think resubmitting it with the bubble more transparent or possibly gritty and broken up. Too bad it wasn't printed.
