i personally love this design. even more than ibndacabbie's last design. I am personally offended that people who scored this design so low didn't even bother to give an explanation as to why they did or what can be improved. As I last remembered, Threadless was more than a rating community.

If you don't like a design, SAY WHY!!!! How is an artist to improve without good feedback?



anyway, this particular piece reminds me of a modern Icarus. and i absolutely LOVE it. i really like the choice of colors. especially the orange dude on blue. I love the box-y lego-ness of his face. I also like how the wings are. Perhaps it is just the angle but the left arm seems to be really club like. I like his hairline a lot too. If anything could be improved. It would be the hands, arms, and feet. I reaaally like his knees!

i agree with the cap'n that the wings couldn't hold up anything, but--correct me if i'm wrong here--that's the whole point. this is a modern icarus in tee-shirt, cargo shorts, and flip flops with no chance of staying aloft... v ery deep. i also like how the eyes are pretty much blank holes. the orange body is best; i don't like the last color combo.
