Here's something to chew over... Imagine an irish bullfighter. With a green muleta, and wool knickers. Might seem ineffective using a green cape, yet...

... knowing that infamous irish machismo, and after a couple pints, it would be the bullfighter chasing after the bull. With the cape slung across his shoulder and his fists pitched high, knees bents low.

My login name is a testament to outrageous perspectives. The obvious answer to "how would a matador in green fare?" would probably be "He wouldn't", but knowing my family and friends, he would tear bull from horn, and come out victorious.

Ah... Anyways I'm from Brooklyn, NY. I hope that doesn't affect my design's integrity. :-P

personally....

I wish the lighter was a zippo-type design. Something a bit less atypical, still on it's side, something with a bit more graphic flair.

I did a zippo first, but i just didn't feel it. I had to take a lot of shots just to get a decent angle on it. Then when i tried to vectorize it, i just kept coming with complications in the overall look of the lighter. Good point, but it's already been sought.

Also, personally, the point of this shirt is that a phoenix is coming out of an ordinary, "atypical lighter". If i made the lighter look too special, it would make the whole concept a little to over the top "Aladdin's lamp". I was much more amused by it coming out of an ordinary 50 cent lighter, just one of BILLIONS.
