About my design

I'm very interested in what the reaction will be to this one. Hopefully not apathy.

I don't think Deliverance was set in Alabama, but in Georgia. Also, I lived in Alabama for 10 years, and not many people wear false teeth (they go bare gummed), or drink booze from a jug. Also, there is absolutely nothing for a tour bus to see there. Maybe that's a camper. Still, who would want to camp there? That place sucks.

Well it looks to me like you used a photoshop filter on a few different images, mirrored one, slapped some silly text on there and said, hmm.. I'm done. Plus that font would be considered more western, not fitting your attempt at a yokel southeastern feel. Plus,... the movie Deliverance was filmed in Georgia, not Alabama. no good

Well, it ain't apathy. Regarding Georgia v. Alabama, I asked 10 people what state they thought of when I said "three teeth and playing a banjo, and Alabama was either first or second for all. This piece (piece may be an appropriate description) has less to do with Deliverance and more to do with the general stereotype of the back-woods, hill-billy red-neck.

Regarding filters, while the piece was done in Photoshop, there are no filters involved. The text isn't a font, but was created. So, it may suck, but unfortunately, it took a while to achieve such suckiness.

Much love,

Oh yeah, and the red image is a trailer, i.e. trailer park, to go along with the red-neck vibe.
