I'm really proud of myself for this design. I like it a lot. Let me know what all of you think!

Thanks.

Wow, that's quite a bit of work on the building. Nice perspective.

Naboolou- It's just a car driving off of a building. At first I had a caption that read "Drive safe." (hence the title), but people here at Threadless don't seem to care too much for text, so I just left it out when submitting the design.

It's supposed to be sort of funny. Because it's a car driving off of a building and you wouldn't even be able to make it to the top of the building in a car. Maybe it's just funny to me. But, I also think it'd be a really neat tee.

The car needs to be more obviously a car. Why not something more modern? Great colors; reminds me of those vector graphics video games from the early 80s.

Yeah, I think that I had just finished reading Hard Boiled, which was obviously illustrated by Geof Darrow, when I originally designed this. He's so good. The amount of detail in his artwork is just so incredible. The man is amazing.

Really neat illustration. And your debris/explotion at the bottom looks very accurate.

its neat looking, but the problem is that the design will just cut off abruptly at the side of the shirt, which i think would make it look odd to wear.

also i think that the dotted line should continue past the other side of the car to show its whole travelling path.

is this done with a 3D program and a shader? not passing judgment, i just became aware of the technique and think its a cool idea.

Roboshobo on May 10 '05
oh forgot to say, nice colors. and text might be cool if it were like drafting letters. you could make it more diagrammatic like an anatomy of an accident. or not, either way is cool.

Nah, it was a picture of a building in Dallas, with which I traced over in Photoshop.

Tell me about this 3d program and shader though. If there's an easier, less time consuming way to do this kind of thing, I'm all ears.

Do you have a link to a larger version of the illustration? I'm really curious to see the details. I like this a lot, although maybe the car could be a wee bit more modern? I would totally buy it, though.

I would make the car a different, contrasting color, to draw more attention to it right off. It took me a minute to work out what was going on. Nice work on the buildings though, and I like the concept.

Funny! I love non-sequitor (sp?) shirts. The dotted line adds a cool vibe. Good job!
