hey kids, the giraffe and bird shirt i did got a warm response, but it seems like two things were problematic. One, the shirt was white, and two, the placement made it seem not design-y enough. Well, i took those suggestions to heart and then went a little further. First off, the shirt is now orange. Also, the placement runs along the side of the shirt rather than smack in the middle. Then I decided, hey, this giraffe and bird need another friend. So, i turned the grassy knoll they were playing on into the hulking shoulders of Skate Ape, the skating ape. Where are they going? Who knows! Skate Ape goes where the action is! I noticed that some people were bugged by the tail on my giraffe. I have made it smaller, but it remains a fox tail. I'm sorry to the few who are miffed by that; it's a cartoon, and i think it looks cute. xox- Robo

SO cute... but i was one of the folks who hated the fox tail... and i still do. it looks FUNNY! i feel sorry for the giraffe!

batbanana, i would be happy to send you copy of the giraffe with the appropriate and anatomically-approved tail. i'm sure you will agree that it is far less cute on the cartoon fictionalized drawing of my own stylization. :D

I like the illustration itself, but I wouldn't wear it. Too bright, and too cutesy for my personal taste. But your artwork is really nice.

the color of the shirt will probably not look so radiant in real-life. mock ups on monitors tend to be a bit vivid. but anyway, help me out people. what color should the shirt be?

Maybe white isn't the best choice but I think it would have been better than orange. I'm thinking of a less intrusive colour, maybe khaki? The design is fab though.

what's the matter with orange? throw some color in your wardrobes, people. and skate ape's nose is depending on that shirt color, since i only have 4 to work with.
