this is my first submission
so, help me out in any way

i kinda thought it was funny, cus i find it a bit ridiculous at how much people pay to have a tiny polo rider embroidered on their shirts

the unconventional size of the design may not be right for this kind of site, and it would definitely work better on a collared \"polo\" shirt, but whatever

It's funny. I agree with you about the collared shirt though. It won't have the same impact on a tshirt.

Yeah, I agree it would look better on a polo, but you take what you can get. I completely love the concept -- and I'm a fan of polo, so it's even funnier to me -- but I think the execution could use a little help. I'd want to see it with nice sharp lines and a clear illustration style... your edges are very fuzzy and the colors are all kind of blobs, so it looks weird to me.

i also agree... if u add more detail to the horse and its rider the image will come out better, and it wont look so blurry

i dont know about using two colors for the horse though
maybe if you are going to use two colors make the lighter one look like stitching/embroidery or something? id unno

i'm actually really surprised this was received so well

soon after i submitted it i had doubts, and kinda wished i hadnt put it in. i expected this to be ripped up. i was kinda anxious to get my first submission in 'cus i love the site so much, and i really shoulda spent more time cleaning it up. however, i kinda dont feel like resubmitting seeing as this will never get printed, owing to the fact taht it doesnt work nearly as well on just a tee.

you could fake the collar / buttons of a polo shirt on the tee. I might look a bit lame though...

not a bad idea idea, but you talk how people pay so much for a shirt with a little polo symbol embroidered on it, i think it would be ridiculous to pay $15 to have a less then 1" image printed on a t-shirt...

yeah, you are right, but with this, you're buying the humor and the jest.
the normal polo is just a symbol saying "i paid $50 for this shirt, that you could get from any other brand for about half the price"
and yeah, $15 isnt that much for a tee
take it as a ratio...the embroidered polo logo is the same size as my tee logo, if not smaller, and how much did you pay for that polo? cus i know you've got at least one...i know i do

I love it! I think it would look better if you enlarged the image to the middle of the shirt, because I know Polo does in fact have a t shirt with the enlarged centered polo player on it. But never the less, great illustration.

if anyone seriously likes this i'll consider revising the actual image and try different size and placement, but i'm not gonna bother if no one would actually buy it with the changes

yeah I gottta say awesome idea, it's just the artwork needs a bit of work, make it a bit sharper. I also think you should just get the polo shirts embroidered yourself at a work wear embroiderers, it'll cost you next to nothing...
