Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I count 5 colors here - Black, grey, white, red, and yellow. I really hate to say that because I love the idea. I'd say kill the grey and it should still stand on its own.

why didn't you finish the rca plugs? you should the metal plug part on the ends. That's what makes the shape recognizeable.
Great idea and execution. I think the actual artwork could use a little more elbow grease. |

kevindujour on Apr 26 '05 I didn't include the metal prongs because that is how the cord ends would look if they were plugged into something. It is still very apparent that this is an audio video cable because of the red white yellow colors. I didn't have the colored ends touching the anatomy graphics, though, because I would run into problems with having two eyes and one connector. So, I resolved this by placing the cords in the direct vicinity of the shape it is connected to.
Nevertheless, all but my concept are open to potential changes for improvement. |

About my design
I'm submitting this to the computer art <3 section because the idea is about "Beating the designer blues." It's pretty simple: Visual and Audibal input will make the brain think, and we'll get output. Since it's such a simple breakdown of those human senses, it is "Audio Video Version One point Oh."
Also, this has been created in Illustrator, and it made up of clean, crisp, smooth curves which aren't very apparent in the picture, or this clear jpg of the design below.
