Okay, I have a dark monitor, so at first I thought it was just a blank black shirt. Try to contrast the color of the design with the color of the shirt. For example, if you want a burgandy shirt, try a white or a pale yellow color for the design.

Design-wise, I like the idea, but it mostly depends on telling the viewer what it is.

I definately like the design, but it is almost impossible to see.

may be nit picky, but if I made a "7" using my hands, I would use 5 on one hand and my index and middle finger on the other. I''ve seen baseball players make a "2" with index and pinky. But I've never seen anyone make a "2" using their thumb.

Might also help differentiate if you used 3 fingers and 4 fingers and left the thumbs out altogether.

Not like cut them off or anything, y'know, just kept them folded in.

I think using a thumb and index for "2" is a European thing. I've seen people at the fish market do it in Germany when I went there. It totally threw me off at first...

Yes, contrast would be nice

if i was just showing seven, i would use index and middle, but when i use my fingers to count, i always use my thumb before any of my fingers.....so thats no prob.

and i really like the idea....but unfortunatly if you just saw the shirt, it would just be wierd.

but i like it. ;)

A hand with seven fingers would be funny.

Would it be better if the "7" was one hand with 7 fingers?

I like the idea but I don't think many people will understand it. Also nice haiku message about your submission.

i think i'm gonna redo it with a pale yellow or sort of flesh tone instead of stupid black.

No, the seven makes sense, because if you count you use your thumb. This looks kind of like a lot of other designs that have been submitted, but it's a bit more creative.

i use my thumbs and index as 7 :)

Without the title, the meaning was lost on me. If the 5, 7, and 5 were stacked vertically (like actual Haiku line) it would be a lot easier to interpret.

i also count and show seven with my thumb and index fingers. i too agree with the title bit. the fingers really aren't a huge deal...

should i try to incorporate the word haiku in there somehow? like maybe with sweet homemade letters?

perhaps try the Sign Language "7"...it doesn't require 2 hands. that could work a bit better to eliminate the confusion. Also like the stacking vertically idea, to make it more poetically realistic. Clever idea, though. 3
