Make it look like he's holding a baloon and floating up instead of dying. It's too sad to wear ona shirt. He can still look sad, like he's floating away from his planet or something.

Right now, it's confusing as to whether he's hanged or floating upward. If it's the former, a knocked-over chair beneath him would help. If the latter, showing more of the balloon-esque object would help.
