idea is fun, but this California roll doesn't read clearly as sushi. Now make it something really distinctive like freshwater eel or octopus, and you've got it nailed.

I love the idea-- I think the execution is abit off. I think at least part of it is the color-- blue sushi? I think the rest concerns the character--it just doesn't look like a guy who dreams of sushi.

Definitely more color though--sushi comes in such great colors and you chose blue-- no forest green? No orange? So salmon pink? Lots of potential there.
