i like this design: its very simple and well done.
the only problem i see is that when a pawn makes it across the board it becomes a queen, not a king. that said though, i still like this. |

It looks more as though the pawn has aspirations to become a king one day, but I really like it!

king me is actually a checkers referance, not chess, but apart from the inaccurate title i like the design :)

I knew I would get comments on those small details but I went with it anyway. I figured the King Me reference worked well enough with the shirt to overrule any incosistency in the actual gameplay. But yea the title kinda goes with the pawn's aspiration of kingship.

I love this design, I'd most definetly buy it. I'd like it more on a different color, though.

My original design had it on light gray but seeing as there is no light gray I had to go with light blue. The light gray in the template is actually heather and I wouldn't want it printed on heather. I tried many other colors but blue was the only one that looked decent :(

i like it, but i dont like the color of the shirt. also, i would like to see this perhaps with several pawns, all of them except one having normal pawn shadows.

Nice design, though I think Gothnoo's suggestion is pretty good.

the light should be on the other side for the shadow to be falling in that direction. just a nitpick.
I think this would have more panache if it didn't look so . . . vector, I guess. try hand drawing it or something. This looks like clipart to me, but it's an awesome idea. |

I didn't want too much business so i went with only 1 pawn.
I can't draw so vector looking will have to do for now. Maybe I'll do another chess shirt with more pawns and pieces. |

i love how this is like the star wars image of anakin becoming darthvader in the shadow......not that im sad or anything.is that another reference you were using?

I'm a huge star wars fan and I know the image you're talking about. I like incorporating my hobbies and movies into my designs.

It's very good, although I would like to see it on a different colour.. red or yellow maybe? It's very simple, and clear. I like it. If this were to ever be printed, I would probably buy it.. for a comfy shirt.
