Alrightie, my second attempt here. I find that when I get designers block, I freak out. I go insane. Thi s is symbolized by the kiddie pool, the gloves and scarf, and the partial nudity. I find that music is the best way to clear the mind, and then fill it with pristine ideas. This is symbolized by the headphones and mp3 player (obviously). With regards to the colors, I wanted a design that could be placed on just about any color shirt, and still look decent. I think this design does a pretty good job of that. I also think it's amazing at the color interactions going on. Try out all the different colors, and look as the blue changes color. Color theory is amazing:|

great design, concept, everything. one thing that always gets me with t-shirts is creative placement. Try fooling around with the placement. Then I still wouldn't buy it but I'd give it a five.

Someone likes showing themselves naked...you any relation to Stephan Sagmeister? Good illustration, though I rarely take kindly to people who hide hands and faces in their life drawing. Unique idea, but I just don't know if it's somethingt I'd see someone wearing.

grayehoud, I originally planned on including hands, but with the scarf, I thought mittens would go well with it. And, the face thing is just a style preference. But I understand your comment, and will keep that in mind for the next go-round.

This would be so random to wear without the context of the 'designer blues' competition to explain it, but that could be fun in its own way.

I'm finding this competition very difficult to enapsulate in a design. You don't want to be too cliche, but not too abstract. It's a challenge, but I've got one more chance after this baby. Thanks for the crits and comments everyone!

Hehe, this is a nice contribution to the contest, I think it's very original.

The only crit I have is that his left leg seems too short, because you show part of his upper foot, but that's only nitpicking, really.

Ha, thats absolutely mint. I think its better without the "designer blues" title. While reading the other coments I've been thinking about wether I'd actually wear it and I've come to the conclusion that i might, or might not, maybe i would though, im not quite sure.



It is class though.

Other than that the pool could look more "pool-like", I love it. Fivenbuy. Also, I like it on natural best.
