I had no idea peewee herman had a star on the walk of fame.

This is pretty good. Honestly though, nothing special. I guess you always have work as a t-shirt model. (I mean that in the nicest way. I think your t-shirt picks are the best).

Actually I take it back. It looks really good zoomed in. The wave looks like a japanese woodblock print.

yeh, we've got a combination of 2 designs here. A nice redraw of The Great Wave by Hoksai Katsushika, and the surfer with filter applied in photoshop.
The surfer and his board could be reduced in hight so that it comes in line with the top of the wave and the bottom of the mountain.
Am such a picky bitch....nice work

Is he surfing the backside of the wave? I'm not sure just looks like the crestr is going towartd the right yet he is snapping on the backside, and I cant tell where the face is. Looks kinda like hes surfing on a giant hairy dragon thats attacking mount fuji, but I have been told I have an overactive immagination.

If I could see the wave a little more clearly I would like more.

yep, no filters were used but some of the splashes did come out pixelated. I'll have to look into that.

the wave itself is drawn exquisitely. kind of asian-tsunami-komodo-esque...

The wave would look more interesting if maple leaf shapes were created instead of akward dragon-esque claws/scales. Reiterating the maple leaf shape as the splashes on the guy/s suit and board would be a great addition. Maple leaves are often associated with Fuji.
