eh i dont think there is anything wrong with the exhaust. i had the light bulb in yellow and matching the look of the car, but other people said it was too distracting (and too many colors for threadless) so thats why i went with this as a final. people liked this best.

I like the Stingray Vette but its like there are two completely separate designs on the shirt. They just dont gell well together.

the car is cool.. the rest of it is a completely differant style and pretty much ruins the shirt.

no matter how good the car drawing is, i wouldn't wear a shirt with this on it, sorry.

yeah i wouldnt wear it either.. but then again i wouldnt wear anything right now in the contest. its more about answering this "theme" not about "wearability". its about both, but more one than the other. in my opinion.

the car is beautiful. awesome. great work. i don't like the lightbulb style of drawing. maybe you could have the corvette on a windy road going through the mountains or something. shrug.

Sjeez, I don't see how you can burn Remster's designs down. It's so clear that you just took a picture of a corvette and traced it, whereas he comes with some original art. So better don't quit your day-job, I'm giving this a zero because it's highly unoriginal, but moreover because you seem to think you can make your stupid scribblings look better by burning other people's work down. Way to go, hotshot!

Black, white, several red and greys, the shadow color... I don't know if Threadless puts dithering in their designs but they'd have to for this to work, like Kinnerean says.

Anyway not a bad design at all, 4.

You believe in karma? It seems like you also believe in using different aliases. What's up with that? Afraid people won't vote on your submissions enough? If you do believe in Karma, you shouldn't do those things and rather focus on making better stuff. I don't care if you feel insulted or mistreated, as far as I can tell you're the one who set the guy up first, so don't come whining afterwards if other people stick up for it. And yes, you can trace in Illustrator, but it would be cooler if you'd actually draw something yourself, rather than re-doing what's been done over and over again. Feel proud about yourself all you want, I think it's just sad.

the car is great. I couldn't do better, even in illustrator. Your self-defense makes me think that you just need to cool down. A little laid back never hurt anybody.

The lightbulb is where the problems begin. A lightbulb is the absolutely most pervasive and unoriginal symbol of an idea. You should go for a drive and rethink how to put that accross in an original manner. The exhaust doesn't do a thing for me either.

I give it a 3.

elasticx... obviously this is my first time submitting ideas on threadless, and i was taken back by the lack of professionalism many of these people have here. i was taught to never bash someones work.. and i just find it rude when someone bashes mine (esp. if they aren't a good designer).

having said that, i appriciate your constructive critisism. i was going to have a collage of ideas instead of a lightbulb-- but heaven forbid anyone think i was copying off of Kemmler (which might i add, would never happen).

also, i dont see the problem with the exhaust? looks to match the car to me .. unless you are talking about the smoke/curly lines stuff.

i had to read the title to understand it. and no. i especially dont like the outline of the lightbulb. and the exhaust bothers me. and i dont really like cars on my t shirts.

heh......hha...the drama, the drama. Anyways, regardless of all the negative things said by some people, i like it. Its not a 5, and its not what i would wear, but i do like the car. The bulb? You already heard what others have said. It clashes with the car, it looks like clip art. You should've had the fumes coming out from the exhaust form a light bulb. It would be subtle and more effective. Just my thoughts. Good work!
