there's not really enough contrast to read the words, it says cliche, right? meh

StitchedUp on Apr 07 '05
love the idea. and i think the contrast is great... if i was walking and someone saw the shirt, they'd probably think "wtf" but i wouldnt care. i think its better if someone would have to pay attention to the detail to get the words

No, Split Milk, cliche...at least I think that is what it means. Like "There is no point crying over spilt milk."

Nice illustration. The milk looks a little too solid though, try making it more like a liquid by removing some of the 'bends' and shadows. Other than that I like it.

the cliché: spilled milk

Maybe I'm totally missing the point, but what I think artifice is trying to say is that Threadless has become full of cliches(such as spilled milk), as is represented by the print "Threadless Farms" on the side of the bottle. Or I'm just reading into it too much...

No, I believe it's you who is LAME, stucknsantee. You are not welcome in this forum if you cannot respect it. Try some constructive criticism. It might make you feel even better than anonymously ripping on things that you could never do on your own. I might actually validate your childish comment if you were a competent designer but you don't even submit anything here. OR you are too much of a coward to show your profile. I hope this makes you feel good.

Note: If you're going to criticize please be constructive and respectful about it.

no use crying over curdled milk

Like the shirt and the concept., You probably believe this will win the right to be printed. Well in that case I'd say "Don't count your chickens before they hatch!", sorry I know that was a bad joke... Good design altho' heaintprayin has a point, the milk looks just shy of cottage cheese, make it smoother and maybe some still spillin from the neck of the bottle to get more of the effect, just my 2 cents.

Don't give in to shirts that has catch phrases. It's been done to much already and we all know they're all cliches. "It's soooo yesterday." I like the design though. Perhaps a few details like milk splatter pattern would enhance the spilt milk. good luck!

I think sometimes the simplest ideas are the best

I like iskababbles idea of a brown shirt, chocolate brown!

maybe if it was more yummy, it would be worth "cry'in" over.
