I was just scribbling one day in illustrator, and when I'd select the lines I thought it looked cool with the blue selection lines within the tangled mess of black lines. I wanted to make something that same style, and this is what happened. For those who can't tell it's supposed to be a girl in a dress. Any and all suggestions are welcome, and obviously needed.

have you tried maybe draping this over a shape, like a box corner or something...not quite sure

It reminds me of that art we used to do in summer camp...something like colors on oil or soemthing like that. I like it, and I don't see the girl at all. I'd just wear it cause it looks neat.

i love that you can interpret it as a lot of different things. i do see the girl but i also see a snobby grandma.

I like not being able to tell what it is. It's a really nice design. I like all of them except the white tee, simply because I don't like white tees. 5$

I like the fact that people can see what they want to see in the design. It's abstract, but not too abstract. The black is the best one. 5$.

do girls in dresses regularly come out of your arm pit? I wish i had that power. But i can tell its a figure now you've told us. Its ok.

I see organic female shapes in it, no girl in a dress though. I just got the feeling that it was female and human and possibly more than one person. I thought of Stover's stuff (stoverarts under 2d graphics figures). He was my teacher. Anyways, I'd look there and see if that helps any. I really like the organic form and flow of your work so far. Maybey not so busy? Keep it up and you'll nail it.

It works well as an abstraction, go with that.

it's one of those things where you look at it, and say, "holy shit that's a girl" and then focus on it and think , "is it? i thought it was..."

i guess i see her, at least i see female form. if that lump thing at the top is supposed to be her head the proportions are off, i know its abstract, but that is still important in making out the firgure. intrigueing, but i had to read your comments to realize exactly what i was seeing. i would make the female a little more defined, the dress is aweosme though. and i dont think id like this on a shirt. especially with that placement. maybe centered?

i like the fact that its difficult to see what the picture is....somewhat abstracted, even if you didnt originally mean it. but in all honesty i think its a great design, i would definately buy it.

definately cool. the black one is sexy, and i also like that it is quite hard to interpret what it actually is, or actually the fact that you can look at it and see just about anything.

I see a chick in a dress playing a violin with a salamander curling around her. At first it was just an abstract kind of shape though, which was still awesome.
