I've lived in Austin for most of my life and I'm proud to call it my home town. It's known for a lot of things - a diverse collective of friendly locals, the nightly migration of bats from the Congress bridge, home of the Texas martini, etc..

My favorite part of living in Austin is the heavy musical influence. Known as the "Live Music Capital of the World," you can't throw a rock without hitting a musician. Even on a Monday night, the downtown area pulses with the sounds of prominent touring acts meshed with high school Metallica tribute bands.
