Geisha yakuza are awesome
maybe japanese coloring and smaller, i would change the tree branches and remove the white blob right in the background. The aspect of a traditional asian fan could be accentuated more without spoiling the illustration.

The hand holding the gun is larger than the other hand and she must be a thamaldahyde baby with that short little gun arm. The trees make it too busy and add little to the design. Hard dark/light contrast could be striking, but here it's just busy. The chick in the background just looks like she's standing around watching as her friend offs someone. Where that may be fun to do, it doesn't add anything to the image. I don't think the fan works, but someone else may like it. I think it adds in another useless element that detracts from an otherwise strong central image.

whilst she seems to be looking at the sun

and the bottom part of the fan is badly done

the arm with the gun looks slightly too short, and the smoke doesn't look transparent enough.

Good idea, but quite busy.
Simplify it by stripping out unneccessary elements like the twigs, blobs on the right & the smaller geisha.
Maybe add an extra colour.

I love the illustration. If it wasn't in a fan I would buy it.

If you wanted to incorporate the fan...maybe you could have her holding it instead of the ciggerette and maybe have her hiding behind it with her eyes peeping out. Or make the fan more detailed and accordian like with the illustration being part of the fan.

I like this alot! Love the contrast. Arm length is not a problem. seems nessary to get whole image on fan. Like the fan. If I was to change or add anything it would be to make the tree limbs Cherry Blossoms which might be found on a traditional fan! I give this shirt a 5 + $

It's a really awesome shirt... but I would make it blend into the shirt more. Like having someone acutally holding it in a scene of whatever on the tee, then a scene on the fan.
