what´s under monster´s bed?

this is such an awesome idea... poor little monster buddy...

i'd like to see the illustration cleaned up, and i'd REALLY like it, if it was less "chibi anime" or whatever ya call it. but that's just me.

Yeah it looks kinda blurred, i think it´s problem of the gif format.

The illustration´s lines are clean in the original (looks more like the button)

To concept is adequate, but i think what he means is the illustration looks too much like a political cartoon as opposed to a design.

You should make it like your other designs, they were marvelously excecuted!

i wanted to do something hand drawn...

Maybe you´re right and i should do it like the others...

I like it a lot, but not as a shirt. With some refinements to the design, I would put it up as wall art.

i think it might be better for a t-shirt if you made it simpler, i.e. taking out the picture frame and the window, but that's just my opinion. Great concept!

btw the angel boy right from the middle, kinda looks evil. Maybe because his hand is like a claw and it looks like he has a horn on top of his hair. It's cool tho :)

love the photograph above the bed - it really makes the shirt.

as a follow up, yeah, like other threadless designs that are chosen to be printed, the subject usually doesnt have a concrete background (like being in a house or a subway or something) and usually has something more abstract or nothing at all... like A Fathom Farewell.

The concept is smart. But the chibi anime style kills it for me. Don't get me wrong I'm an avid anime fan. I think having an anime style automatically classifies the image and shrinks the audience that might buy it. You can't escape classficiation. A catepillar on speed rendered in the style of a 50's Pinup girl painting will look retro despite the unrelated subject matter.

another thing to consider is what gets published here and what sells. Clean vector designs or simple unclassified illustration styles is accessible to a wider audience.

haha maybe it would be funny if some "good guys" were really under the bed, heads poking out
