About the design
The goal was to create a fairly simple iconic image that symbolizes the natural rotation of our life. Each spoke spins quickly like a single day. The wheels rotate a little slower than the spokes do, similar to the weeks and months that we see go by. And eventually we switch vehicles completely as the years and decades pass.
The real challenge is to tell this story through a simple image. I really wanted to leave out motorized vehicles and stick with a more manual, natural, and traditional look. Somewhat old fashioned even.
