Nope. There is no gradient in the eyes...it's a orange star actually.
red-orange-black-white are the only colors in this pick.

Well...'nuff said.

Anyway, on to this design...I really like this one. I have a few minor criticisms though.

First, you don't need the type. It's obvious that he's Amish. It's also obvious that he's mad. People can surprise you with their ability to figure things out on their own.

Also, I think the design would be vastly improved if you removed the entire white portion of the pentagon, and just had your angry fellow emerging from the plain red pentagon in the center. The border is just overkill.

I'm confused by all the negative comments, because it's REALLY well-drawn. It's definitely a bit too big, and the concept itself is perhaps a smidgen too goofy even for me, but I love it nonetheless. I don't think it would do well without text, but I think "The Mad Amish Guy" is a bit too simplistic... something catchier would be preferable.
