i think i would prefer smaller boxes, and stretching some out to orange. but i like the idea. and use yellow instead of the red.

there should have been more effort. all you did was go in photoshop and played with a square brush..i mean come on...there are better ways to do this. the boxes aren't even equal in line from what i see. this is very poorly done.

cool, use more colors and maybe add a little more visual interest, but it's a good idea.

I didn't know what it was until I read the comments. Red and green should only be together during christmas time. maybe green and yellow or blue.

Also, nobody's mentioned that the red should only appear at the same level. So the short ones shouldn't have any red at all. Capiche?

no, i was only vaguely basing it on an EQ - hence the red at the top of the lines, instead of at a single level. it seems you guys would dig it more if it actually looked more like an equalizer display, so maybe i'll put one up that does, spend some more time on it, since this really took about 40 minutes. thanks for the tips, all.

It could use a bit more finesse with the construction quality like chimbley said.
Maybe a bit more detail would help it feel more finished. |
